So... I got some toys at Auto Assembly this year

They're taking their time to get used to the bot-collection :3 Photocomic behind the cut

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! *hugs them both gently* I remember you getting them ^_^ such good finds, I'm glad they have a good home now :3 *nuzzes* <3

*nuzz* :3 old bots need lots of hugs (gentle ones because of the old).

And then, you know... you have all this G1 mold love...

But of COURSE you were loved, you sillies! the G1 molds still have a charm about them that none of the newer toys have despite all their fancy articulation and gimmicks.
Plus, no other collection is as complete in its original canon charas as G1 is, so you have nothing to worry about, boys. :)

Also, Reprolables should be able to help with the missing stickers and decals on Jazz, no problems.

Well, I think the old G1s might want those working knee and hip joints the new bots have :p standing at attention all the time is tiring.

Awww. ^_^ "Mech, I'm a toy that got given to a kid 20 years ago. What do you *think* happened to me?!"

I'm just happy when I find vintage toys that I can take home and love, and when others can do the same. ^_^

Awww I know that feeling. I always think of how I found that poor Sunstreaker 9 years ago. It was really a case of he as Cinderella and me as the Fairy Godmother because he was in SUCH bad shape when I found him. Poor bot was stripped of just about everything but his dignity :/ Took a while to restore him and he's so much better and happy now.

Kids are rough, even bots made of metal get worn out ^_^;;

Mmhm :3 these two are set for a nice, quiet retirement (or as quiet of one as is possible on my shelves...)

Super cute and glad to see them settling in to their new home =)And they have earned it by the looks of things =)

Mmhm. They're a pair of battered old bots, but I think they'll adjust nicely :3

Aww!

I like the photos!
And now the 'obsolete' FIRST makings of Jazz and Prowl get some much needed love.

By chance, did you happen to see ToyStory recently? Cause reading the conversation between Jazz, Prowl, and the others reminded me of a clip or two from the trilogy.

Hey, my opinion is, any future that wants me, is a good one. Any future that looks at me (and family, and friends) with awe, is an excellent one. Any future that knows me, well is just a warm oil bath all over. (clean, fresh oil! Not the old stuff). Oh, don't forget the energon! Can't go without energon.
Well, maybe toys can, but me, not as adaptable.

*Snickerfit*
This is cute.
Thanks for sharing.

Apparently everyone needs to be reassured at times - giants, pip-squeaks, normal; old, young, average; trained, lucky, half-hazard; - to be reassured by a version of yourself, that there, was WIN!
