While Down Under, I picked up a couple of mechs (Oh Primus that sounds sleazy). Ironhide is introduced to Bitty!Jetfire.

‘Hide: Wow, Ratch’. You managed to find the one mech crankier than you.
Ratchet: *glares*
Jetfire: *glares*
Ante: *giggles., quietly, from far away*
Jetfire: Younglings these days… *grumble*

I also found The Doctor/Scalpel (he turns into a microscope! How could I not get him?) , who stayed in his packaging all the way home, because three out of three TFs agree, he’s a creepy looking fragger. Ironhide’s already having flashbacks to the time the praying mantis flew into my room and tried to eat him.

Scalpel: Why nobody like Scalpel? ;_;

This is the aforementioned bug on Robot Replicas Optimus. RR!Optimus looks like he's about to go hunting flies, falconer style, with his new mantis friend. Bitty!Opti is looking at me all 'Deal with this thing. Please?'.

And here's the mantis again, trying to nom Ironhide (I actually have a little video of that). Ironhide is Not Happy^TM. Especially more so because Replicas Optimus and Voyager Optimus are nattering on about freedom being the right of all sentient beings, meaning that he can’t use his cannons.

But, back to the present.

Soundwave: Query: What do you want, Autobot?
Ratchet: Well, we recently got another ‘Con, and since you’re a ‘Con….

SW: Excellent. *turns ‘round* Sweet Matrix!

SW: Autobot: On your own.
Ratchet: Frag.

And so, microscope mech has to live on the next shelf. His legs fold under, neat as you please.

You’re probably wondering where my resident nature mech was while Ironhide was dealing with the mantis. Ani!Prowl was welcoming Samurai!Prowl to the room.

Samurai!Prowl: Younger brother!
Ani!Prowl: Elder brother! There’s so much I have to tell you!

Samurai!Prowl: … Prowl, you could stand to write more often.
Ani!Prowl: My apologies. I lost your email.

Samurai!Prowl is thrilled to be an ‘uncle’. Bitty Ani!Prowl is happy to meet another cyberninja. Ani!Jazz is plotting already.

Ani!Prowl tells Bitty Ani!Prowl to be good for Samurai Prowl, then while Samurai!Prowl pulls sitting duty, Ani!Jazz puts his plot into action, coaxing his mech off screen for a little ‘them’ time.

And then, I crashed in bed and didn't crawl out 'til the next day when I had to show up at work.
