... I feel like I'm back in kindy. There was paint all over my hands. I had to go wash up twice during the painting just so I wouldn't turn the toaster mechs' paintjobs into camouflage patterns (really weird camo too), or some demented, colourblind excuse for a decorator's attempt at a colour scheme. (There'd be no body. Sunstreaker'd annihilate me.)

Paint's still drying, so they look a little patchy (heck, I think they'll still be patchy when fully dry). Toothpick and bobby pin are there for scale (on hindsight, I should have used one of my TF figures). Linework to add and minor details to fix, then more drying and a coat of varnish.

I am way too pleased with myself for it to be healthy.

Yup, green toaster's Hunter. I even made a little hollow in his base so I could fit the leash on him (if I ever figure out how to make one that teeny, that is).

*SQUEE!*

They are all so darling! And you're still sending me Prowl and Jazz yes? I don't care if they're splotchy. :3 I'm working on your own toasters this week! XD

Yup ^_^ Just need to finish them up and hope that the varnish doesn't decide to go homicidal on me (bad experience one time. Varnish flaked, and I ended up with a patchwork paper clay kitty).

Those are quite possibly the most adorable things I have ever seen. XD

And is it just me, or has Prowl multiplied? o.o

Well, all you need is a really fine paint brush, and the foresight to carve the little numbers with a needle in the clay while it's still malleable. The paint fills the engravings, easy as anything if your hands are steady (note, my hands are not as steady as I'd like, eesh).

I'm really impressed. They're very cute!

I hape to say that Perceptor and Optimus look like the hardest ones up there to make - so much detail! Really nice work you did thar.

Perceptor was a pain in the aft to paint, yes, and making him was a little OMP how do I do this? 0.0 He's lucky he's cute.

Optimus was actually easier to make than any toaster with wings ^_^

Heh.
