Happy Chinese New Year '09

Sooo, it's the first day of the lunar calendar (yes, it's past midnight and it counts), and both my TF collection and I would like to wish the folks who wander by my journal a very happy Chinese New Year. ^_^





The TFs are definitely staying my room for the duration of the new year festivities, because candy and assorted goodies abound during this period (meant for the humans who come a-calling), and mechs and bitty mechs on a sugar rush are bots I live in some trepidation of.

This has not stopped them from plotting. I am counting on the Prowls to exercise a little control over the matter, so that even if they fail from keeping everyone from sneaking out, they might at least not devastate the goodies piled up outside (why does my room have to be located nearest to the goody pile? Ai... 0_0;; ).

In other news, I received what looks like a Binaltech Prowl (see the centre mech in the picture, the flash smoothed out a few of his rough edges), but I have my doubts as to whether or not he's genuine. His packaging was kinda shoddy, and some plastic bits that I think are usually white on him, look a little more like cream. Joints are too loose and too tight, paint's a little mussy too... But it's ok, maybe!BTech Prowl, I still like you, no matter who made you *snugs*

I just hope I don't get lead poisoning from you. *snugs a bit more carefully*

I love the paper cranes! Did you make them yourself? Or did the mechs do it? ;)

I did make the cranes ^_^ _{The mechs tried to help, though. Keeping the paper from flying away, herding the flock together (I made more than pictured :P), comments on how the wings aren't as pretty posable as a certain black and white's, but okay still pretty...}

The intake is usually decent. But I need to avoid blowing it all on TF stuff... ^_^;;

Why, for the holidays of course! We need lots of holidays! *nodnod* And the firecrackers. And the food. Can't forget the food! The 'bots just need to accept that us humans will take any excuse to have a party. XD(and I spent CNY in Melb with the 'rent, ah the joys of actually having a holiday on CNY!)
