Yeah, and they heal their pokemon now if you get them too far into the red without dropping them. First time that happened to me I was all >:[ But I suppose that's fair, seeing how we can heal our team with items too.
You could use a gestalt pokemon without the related set team as a damage sink and pp waster, their defense stats and hp are pretty high. Most players don't do this, for obvious reasons. Hmm, when Superion goes up against Menasor, attack stats go up. The same is true for Defensor and Bruticus.
