To get the Optimus badge, you need to catch an Orion, an Ariel and a Dion and bring them to this bearded old man who lives somewhere in a mountain. The old man will then make you take a quiz (it's actually pretty easy, just ignore all common sense and go for the most noble answers), after which you must battle a team of Decepticons (Three Seekers, a Soundwave, a Shockwave and a Megatron). Winning gets you the Optimus badge, and you obtain the Matrix artefact that allows your Orion to evolve into a Prime. If used when Ariel and Dion are in the party, they evolve too. If you have an empty slot at this point in time, you also get an egg, which will eventually hatch into the baby form of Rodimus, Hot Rod.
