I dunno, but I was thinking the original cast still exists, with the TF cats being either Jellicle spawn or external cats who come along later, after the time of the musical. Mirage, along with Hound (odd name for a cat) and Smokescreen might be Jazz's siblings, owing to their light and vison tricks. Skywarp too maybe...
